Our governance is led by a Board of Directors which is the legal body vested with the responsibility for establishing policies, guiding the credit union's strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with ACU’s by-laws and the provincial Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act (the Act).

ACU's Board of Directors
ACU is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors. The Board plays an integral role in shaping the credit unions’ strategic direction and guides ACU to achieve its mission and vision. The Board provides important leadership and oversight as the credit union works to serve our members with excellence, delivering on our commitments to quality of service, competitive positioning, convenient solutions, commitment to urban, rural, agricultural, and Francophone communities, French language services, and a values-based approach to banking.
The Board understands the importance of ensuring its Board as a whole possesses the knowledge, skills, diversity of backgrounds and lived experiences to effectively steward and oversee the strategic direction of the organization.
Each director brings diverse expertise and a shared commitment to guiding Assiniboine Credit Union's strategic direction, upholding our values, and ensuring we serve the best interests of our members and communities.
