How can I bank with ACU?

How do I open an account?

Looking to apply for an account? No problem. If you’re already a member, you can open an ACU chequing account or savings account by logging into digital banking on your computer or mobile device. You can also visit us in-branch to open any account.

If you’re not already a member, you can open your membership online in minutes or make an appointment at your local branch to get started.

How can I bank with ACU?

Manage your business finances seamlessly through online banking, our mobile app, or secure telephone banking service. With ACU, you can view real-time balances, pay business expenses, transfer funds, and more—all from wherever you do business. Need in-person service? Our branches and Business Financial Centres are here to help.

How do you protect my account against fraud?

When you bank with ACU, your information is protected by industry-leading security capabilities, including robust fraud prevention, cybersecurity features and high-risk transaction protections.

You also have control over your account access—only you know your sign-in credentials, username and password. Our employees do not have this information, nor will they ask for it.

As a member, you’ll need to log in to your ACU digital banking account at least once every 120 days for security purposes—via online banking or the mobile app. If you don’t, your account will be locked and you will need to contact us to have your password reset. This important security feature helps protect members who don’t use online or digital banking very often.
