ACU awards four $2,000 bursaries annually to students of Indigenous ancestry who are enrolled in a minimum of three courses at a post-secondary business-related program or already studying in a business-related program at a post-secondary institution in Manitoba.
Applications submitted outside of this window will not be considered.
How to apply
The application process has two steps:

Submit your completed form and supporting documents through our online submission portal.
Who can apply?
We invite students who meet the following criteria to apply:
- Indigenous ancestry
- Enrolled in a post-secondary business program in Manitoba (e.g. accounting, finance, sales and marketing, hospitality, human resources, technology, etc.)
- Taking a minimum of three courses
- Good academic performance
- Demonstrated financial need
- Involved in the community
How are successful applicants notified?
Successful applicants will be contacted in spring by the selection committee.
If you are not contacted, we encourage applicants to re-apply in following years. Previous applicants and recipients of an ACU Indigenous student bursary are eligible to re-apply. Priority will be given to first time applicants.
When do successful applicants receive the bursary funds?
An ACU representative will contact successful applicants to make financial arrangements.
