After careful consideration, ACU has decided to consolidate its branch at 875 Dakota Street, effective February 5, 2027.
The St. Mary’s branch, located at 1210 St. Mary’s Road, will become the Dakota members’ ‘home’ branch. Conveniently located a short distance away, across from St. Vital Centre, members will continue to receive the same trusted advice and service they receive today. Members will be served by the larger St. Mary’s branch, which offers ample parking and a drive-thru ATM.

In further keeping with its commitment to providing French language services in designated bilingual areas, the St. Mary's branch will be designated a Caisse Assiniboine / Assiniboine Credit Union branch, which means that members will have access to the same number of bilingual branches they had before the merger. French language service is also available at our Lakewood and Provencher branches in Winnipeg and in several rural communities.

In a timely manner, ACU will be providing members with details regarding the transition of in-branch services. ACU has also reached out to all affected employees to assure them that their employment with ACU will continue and they will be supported through the transition.
