The announcement was made this morning by the editors of *Canada’s Top Employers*.

“We are excited and humbled by this award,” said ACU President & CEO Kevin Sitka. “To be nominated in a year in which we transitioned over 80 employees from Entegra Credit Union, with whom we merged — and then to win — is particularly gratifying.”

ACU was chosen by the editors of Canada’s Top Employers. Companies are judged on their physical workplaces, atmosphere, health and other benefits, time off, employee communications, professional development, and community involvement. They are then compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs. **[Here’s why](https://reviews.canadastop100.com/top-employer-assiniboine-credit-union)** we were selected.

“At ACU, our triple-bottom-line commitment to people, planet and prosperity applies to everything we do,” says Sitka.

“As a result, ACU attracts employees motivated by the greater good, who genuinely believe that a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion makes us all stronger.”
